Team Sarah Parkinson
Sarah holds over 6 years’ experience of working with children and young people within educational settings, supporting individuals with a range of special educational needs and mental health difficulties. During this time, she developed a passion for understanding the subjective nature of what constitutes a ‘good quality of life’ for individuals with additional needs. After completing a Psychology BSc at the University of Hull in 2019, Sarah progressed onto an MSc by research inspired by personal experience - analysing the effects of a combined physical, cognitive and social intervention on quality of life in people with dementia and their carers.
Sarah is excited to be part of the COMIC team and will be mainly supporting the ASPECT team and other studies at COMIC. She looks forward to contributing to potentially life altering research for the younger generation.
